Pâtissez - Canberra

A great spot to try a famous "Freakshake". We adore Pâtissez as it is a great café with amazing staff and delicious food and drinks. The "Freakshakes" are great - Although we have tried nearly all of the flavours, the Pretzella (Nutella, pretzels, vanilla soft serve ice cream) is a great one to try. The large sizes are extremely filling, but taste so good! We also recommend the Crème Brûlée donut, it was definitely a stand-out dessert. The crunch of the caramelised sugar, the fluffiness of the donut and the sweetness of the vanilla filling was out of this world. The staff are also extremely accomodating, even when it is completely full. Food and drinks still came out quite early, despite how many people there were. On the other hand, the only problem is that sometimes you may have to sit outside or wait for a table that is inside. This cafe (especially on weekends) gets extremely crowded, but this does not stop Pâtissez from performing at its best! We only had to wait around 10 minutes for a table as the staff were very helpful and efficient in making sure we received a table quickly.

This creative ondeh2 doughnut is awesome!!! Pandan doughnut with gula malaka cream cheese inside and white chocolate frosting and coconut flakes.. really looks and taste like ondeh2..

Thank you for the excellent excellent service and food! Went in today for the freak shake I'd heard so much about. Saturday afternoon with four boys, 6 month, 5 years, 8 and 12 years. Although you were a chef down, you seated us promptly, found space for the pram, saw the desperation in my eyes when you told me it was a 30 min wait for food. You served me coffee and our freak shake in minutes keeping the boys at bay and food within ten minutes. Excellent chips and cheeseburgers kept kids and mum/ Aunty happy. Thank you so so much. Boys loves freak shakes. I loved you kind kind service!

Fantastic freakshakes. I had the Nutella one with pretzels. The shake was delicious without being overly sweet or rich. Well worth the hype. Loved how they had almond milk option!
