Fortunately, that's... read more So let's start with the obvious: PappaRixh is a chain restaurant and there are plenty of them right across Australia (and other countries). Fortunately, that's for a good reason. The restaurant was bustling after work on Friday night. After queuing for 5 minutes, we were seated. The ordering system is quite efficient, but don't expect much assistance in navigating the menu. That being said, ordering is simple enough. The Beef Rendang with Roti Bawang was excellent. Hot and soft roti served with a fiery, flavoursome rendang, with accompaniments. To be honest, I was expecting a slightly larger serve, but the size was certainly reasonable. The Teh Tarik was also reasonable enough, but not a standout. Overall, PappaRich offered good value for money, quick service and a fast, tasty meal. I would return for a quick, casual meal.

What a ridiculous restaurant. Staff are a joke and rude. I'm boycotting this franchise.

I be... read more Very disappointment with the service I received at your restaurant on 22/05/23. I ordered a meal and asked for water twice, but it was never brought to me. I believe that water should be served once the customer is at your table or with any meal, and I am disappointed that I had to ask for it twice and still I did not receive any water. Wait staff told me they were out of water glass. Is this a joke? And to be honest the food was absolutely terrible too. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at your restaurant. I would not recommend it to others, and I will not be returning.

Was everything part pre p... read more The menu read well and promised the flavours of Malaysia. We selected 3 different meals, all arrived very quickly perhaps too quickly. Was everything part pre prepared? The meals were ok but all lacked something and mostly taste. They were not terribly hot, pre-prepared? The flavour was wearing all meals. Staff were nothing to write home about, seemed to be more interested in chatting and having fun with each other. Prices are about average for today, not too high. Not sure I would rush back here.
