We had the most delicious Charcoal Chicken! The food was so fresh and tasty with very generous portions. Also the feta za'atar chips are a must try. We will be back! View all feedback.
They do have a nice ambiance. They had a simple and interesting decoration with a lot of space around each table. It was a long time since I had any proper kebab in Canberra, so decided to go for the double shish kebab. I asked them for a combination of chicken and lamb, with coleslaw salad. To break it down, the chicken shish was really good, esp, having it after a very long time, I loved it. While, the lamb was below average. The meat was not evenly cooked. And the bread and hummus sides were meeting the normal standards. Nothing to make you remember the place by.Overall, its a decent place if you want to have some kebabs.
I like this place. Nice decoration. Relaxing atmosphere. Quick and easy service. Well space between tables as well so you won't feel too much noise around when dining in. The outside seating area is quite nice for a sunny day.

Got takeaways last night and it was definitely worth the money! (I had a 2 for 1 deal from LivingSocial . I loved the fried Lebanese bread salad (Fattoush? . The shish's were succulent and freshly cooked which was also fantastic.I don't think I would know what bad Baklava tastes like, so can only say it was just as fantastic as I have tasted elsewhere.I hear they will be looking at home delivery in the near future, once they sort out their marketing? I think the takeaway flyers were still at the printers due to a revamped menu?
Mr Zee 's is a new eatery at Civic (near Monkeybar) that is all about kebabs. It 's basically a more chic version of a Lebanese takeout. It 's sells the usual types (ie classic chicken/lamb/koftas/falafel), wrap or kebab with immaculate presentation on quality ingredients. They also put their own spin on some dishes like 'Lebanese Nachos ' (which used fried flatbread instead of corn chips). For first timers I would recommend the classic lamb wrap, the lamb chunks contained within were thick and juicy unlike your typical kebab takeout. Alcohol is also on the menu and they usually have daily meal deals so worth checking out for a quick lunch!
