Reviews - Korbq
Reviews summary
KorBQ offers a vibrant dining experience, celebrated for its DIY charcoal BBQ and authentic Korean dishes like bibimbap and fried chicken. While many diners rave about the rich flavors and friendly service, others express concerns about slow service, small portions, and an overwhelming BBQ smell permeating the restaurant. Despite some inconsistency in side dish variety and quality, the standout bulgogi and delicious pancakes keep patrons coming back. While the atmosphere buzzes with energy, it may not suit those seeking a quiet meal. Overall, KorBQ remains a favorite, albeit with room for improvement.

Pete and I had an amazing dining experience at Kor BQ. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Every dish we tried was delectable. We wholeheartedly suggest this restaurant and look forward to returning.
Honestly the best Korean food I've ever had! Not too spicy or salty. The atmosphere was great and waiters were super nice and gave us great recommendations. Would definitely recommend
Tried this new restaurant last week. Great food, very good staff. Meat quality was the best I had in Canberra. However you have to share a table with others when they are busy, i don't like it as a concept.
Reasonable price and best service!!! I have been to most korean restaurant at Canberra and this is the best place at this stage.

We had a great time and loved the food at this restaurant. Although we were a party of four seated at a table meant for six, we found it a bit crowded. The portion sizes were surprisingly large, but we managed to finish almost everything. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Have you been there before?
The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the atmosphere is eclectic. The service is also good, with friendly staff who made the entire experience enjoyable. I will definitely return.
The Kimchi Pancake was delicious at this restaurant. Overall, the food was tasty and the staff was friendly. However, there were some downsides to the experience. Not all tables had a barbecue, so if you didn't have a booking, you may end up at a table with a change-over table top. There was no ventilation, causing the air to be smoke-filled throughout the meal. The portions were on the small side, with only 2 side dishes served with the meat. The BBQ vegetables dish had very limited quantities of each vegetable. While we usually order multiple meats at Korean BBQ restaurants, we felt disappointed by the portion sizes here. Overall, it was not the worst meal, but it did not meet our expectations. We probably wouldn't recommend or return to this restaurant.
A really enjoyable evening with a wide selection of dishes that we shared among our two families. Each dish was delicious and a special highlight was the spicy, cool chicken. A special mention of the Kaede, the head of the house that was an absolute joy and... although the restaurant was very busy, she worked hard and fast to help that things run smoothly, which must have been a stressful night. We would like to come back to Canberra next visit. Recommend this restaurant!
Menu is great for variety and their BBQ is lovely. The food here seems a bit fusion which works quite well. Staff is efficient and food gets served pretty fast.
