The food is either top notch or patchy - gluey rice as an example. I put it down to the sheer volume of meals prepared but for the price, it would be great to get back to the old days.

We both had an uncomfortable stomach for 2 days after and had horribly smelly burps. We ordered the Gado Gado (not authentic or fresh), Nasi Goreng (too oily, too much rice and little else) and Sambal Ikan (way too spicy and oily). We couldn't eat all the Gado Gado so packed it for home, but ended up throwing it away in disgust.

Despite its continued populari... read more My Indonesian wife was craving some home-cooked food, so we decided to visit this restaurant that I had tried about 15 years ago. Despite its continued popularity, not much had changed. The dishes were delicious, but the gravy was a bit thin. However, the prices were reasonable.
