the place was badly called betti, so they think it is the same. the whole area was completely quiet when we left, apart from a bar at the end of the strip. highlights: the burger was super tasteful. the nachos were made with fresh guacamole and the chicken was perfectly cooked. lowlights: service could have been a bit more attentive/friendly, but great eating. What Jana Sanford doesn't like about Betti Bravo's:
We booked into Betti's on a Saturday night after a previous walk by, we though it looked quite nice as did the menu. When we arrived one of the two waitresses that were working on a Saturday night informed us that they only had bar tables available, which isn't acceptable when we booked well in advance. She brought us over the menu's (Food and Drink) We were then left waiting for upwards of minutes before she came back over to take our order. The drink I ordered was the Endless apple cider from Vic and the bar sent out a Bartlow cider. I'm not particularly a cider connoisseur, but one is more Boutique and the...read more
This restaurant is a revelation. The food is fantastic. Must haves are the corn cobs, the quinoa salad and the jerk chicken. I have only been in Canberra a few weeks and have eaten a LOT of ordinary meals. This place is always reliable and my go to place when friends visit from out of town. It should be packed to the gills and would be in Melbourne but for some reason it's not. Take advantage and try it for a taste bud treat
Headed over to the place after being intrigued by the menu and it didn't fall short on taste! The calamari was a little salty, but everything else was perfect! Super tasty and refreshing, it's easily one of the best places I've dined in in Canberra. Would definitely recommend the jerk chicken and butifarra blanca. It's not entirely pricey for people), but it's worth it for a good night out.
Great, fresh cocktails menu. Food was tasty however service was slow and serving size was tiny for the price. Might go back for the cocktails...?
Our four-headed family visited canberra from sydney. we had curtain, schweinetacos, mix of salat, seafood paella and chicken paella. it was too much to eat. plantain and worst guacamole ever. plantains are soft, guacammol has been made pure by avocado, without lime or crater or something, it was also an extremely small portion (gucamole.) Pork-Tacos: taste was average, but again, portion filling was much too small. meereskultur paella: ridiculous. there were 4 mush and two garnel on the paella. when we opened the muddles, 3 of my family were like: there is nothing in it! After we had a much closer look, we found the super tiny mushes inside. immediately we thought that was a joke...read more
