What an amazing dining experience! I planned to snap some photos of the appetizers, but everything looked so delightful and tasted incredible that I couldn't wait. Don't be fooled by the unappealing lettering on the front window; this restaurant is a gem! Every bite was flavorful and intriguing—simply delicious. They use a lot of locally sourced ingredients, which is a big plus. Seriously, hurry over and eat here. You can thank me later!

However, I checked their website for hours and additional information, and it hasn't been updated since Mother's Day in 2014, which is quite strange. Their Facebook page isn't much better either; it seems like someone has lost interest. Despite that, it's still a great place to eat.

I had the balsamic chicken breast, which was tender and juicy—cooked to perfection. My husband ordered the pork chops and even offered me a small taste. Wow, they had a fantastic apple flavor! The prices for the meals were very reasonable. What a gem for this town! Since it’s just moments off the Thruway (I90), travelers looking for a meal will find this a much better option than a typical rest area. We also brought our 2-year-old, and the staff was very accommodating. They were happy to have him and provided high chairs and booster seats. I can't wait to return!

Compared to the rest area food this should be 5 stars but compared to the food in all of yelp I'm giving it just 4. I don't know any of the other restaurants around here... But I'll come back next time I'm in this route. Gas is cheaper too in Canojahrie.
