We had lunch at this restaurant and received quick service. I ordered deep-fried pickles with a garlic sour cream dip, while my friend had a smoked hoagie on a pretzel bun with smoked meat, sauerkraut, cheese, and mustard. We also had a Caesar salad and a Bud Lite to go with our meal. The new chairs were comfortable and there were big screen TVs playing music at the perfect volume. What Elva Hane doesn't like about Joker's Den:
Stopped in for a valentines lunch with my hubby. Had a "rootbeer float" which was totally watered down and looked and tasted like a glass of milk with ice. Waited quite a long time for service. Had a burger and fries, burger was burnt. Hubby had a beef dip which he enjoyed. Table was broken and almost tipped over, no one fixed it when we reported it. Has great potential as it's a cozy pub like atmosphere but needs wo... View all feedback.

I travel for business 50-75% so I am well familiar with hotels, restaurants, and expectations of what kind of food and service is out there. I chose to stay at the Best Western hotel in town as it is rated a higher level than most in the area. The hotel has not disappointed. The restaurant however is a different story. Yesterday I sat down for dinner and the big screen TV was showing golf. No one was watching so I asked to change it to Monday Night Football. I was told by the bartender that I had to move seats to watch Monday Night Football because they couldn’t change it from golf. Tonight I sit down in front of the same tv I originally sat at last night with the World Series playing. They promptly change it to a hockey game and make me move yet again. This place has absolutely no idea what customer service is! The food isn’t awful, but it isn’t the reason I am eating here either. If you want a good dining experience with good customer service, keep searching.
The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly and serves a variety of drinks and food items. The menu offers a wide range of options to suit any taste. The food we ordered was absolutely delicious.
We stopped in on a Friday night. The friends we were with had already eaten but me and my wife had not so we thought the Joker's Den was a good compromise seeing as how we had just been at the CRE. We found a table and had to wait a fair bit for the waitress to come and take our order. This was about 8pm so it wasn't busy, not sure what the delay was. We got our drinks and ordered some food. It arrived, again, not in a hurry but then we weren't either. We had the ribs and nachos. The ribs were very dry and didn't have much meat on them. The nachos had lots of cheese but it was all in piles, and not necessarily on the nachos. There would be a big pile of cheese 1/4 thick on the side of the plate but no cheese on the nachos. I had finished my beer half way through the food but never got asked if I would like another. I would have had one but I wasn't interested in having to get up and track down our waitress to order one and by the time she came by we were basically done with our food. I've rarely left a table with nachos left and never with ribs left but this time we left some of both. Would I go back? Sure, for a beer. Would I recommend that you plan to go there for food. NO.
They have a great steak sandwich special in the afternoon with prompt service. Staff is friendly good selection of beverages
