Service was decent. Food was good. Drinks were better. The Turkish delight cocktail is...well...a delight! Good ambience. Had to wait in line to get in but was treated kindly by staff. Did I mention the Turkish delight cocktail was amazing?! View all feedback.
Their waffles are my favourite in Cape Town, after a terrible experience at Cafeen/Park's Edge where the waffles were burnt and we were told that that is how they normally serve them (when we mentioned to the owner), I don't think I will go anywhere else. If you want a perfect waffle every time, and I mean every time as I have been there so many times, go to Tasha's Constantia, you will not be disappointed
Tashas is by far my favourite “chain” restaurant. This particular branch is bright, airy and beautifully decorated I don’t know how anyone can resist the invitation to sit down. Well, I don’t think many do judging from how busy the place was on just a regular Tuesday. I do have two gripes about tashas though one is the lack of vegetarian options for those who don’t want a salad, have a look at their easy meals, there’s not a single veg dish. In these times when people are moving towards plant based lifestyles, I really do think tashas should step up. I converted a chicken pasta into a veg dish but then they don’t drop the price which brings me to my other gripe the price. Most of their meals are too expensive and yes the quality is top notch, but R144 for a regular chicken pasta dish?! Despite these issues, I still can’t give tashas anything less than 4 as the service is really good, the food was tasty and the ambiance is simply the best.
Very pleasant atmosphere, good dish selection and attentive service. This outlet has it all to be a great coffee shop. However, I found their egg Benedict to have too much of a vinegar taste. Other than this, their presentation is good and the service staff is welcoming and attentive.
Saturday lunch meeting was very pleasant. We went to meet a client and have a bite. Staff very friendly it always surprise me how many staff they have in each Tashas) and food as good as the Tashas I tried in Century City. Big portions and lots of flavour.
A bright welcoming environment, a first visit turned into losing an entire Sunday afternoon between this eatery and Tashas Waffle House next door. It’s was well worth it. Trying the Bean stew, a fairly new introduction, hold back the feta if you are vegan. The Salmon Tartare for a truly healthy meal. Two burgers pint size, funnily enough for the gent and who can resist a chilled Prosecco on your day off?! Next stop Gelato ice cream, held back on the waffle, sadly, do have my limits but boy they looked good. A real treat for both adult and child alike.
