A hidden gem hidden behind the Woolworths in Main Road. Stopped by for some spring rolls yesterday. They arrived straight out of the fryer golden, crispy delicious and not at all soaked in oil. The menu is reasonably priced and there are tons of budget-friendly lunch specials featuring huge portions. Will definitely be back to try the meals. View all feedback.
Great sushi and great prices. Ordered a takeaway via Whatsapp. Quick and easy and my order was ready in 10 minutes.Friendly staff and a great variety of sushi platter options. Freshest wasabi I have had in a while, not diluted at all.
Happened upon this place one day in Rondebosch common. Good place for budget friendly, fresh, tasty sushi. Lots of variety on their platters they offer.

For good and fresh sushi on a budget, as well as tasty Chinese food to go, Shanghai makimono is one of my favourites. The staff are super friendly and the food hasn't let me down yet.
Best sushi ever!! Hidden gem of note. Can't wait for the new store to open.
