Tapsilog bistro is a lowkey filipino restaurant with a bar kinda vibe. They have a few interesting fusion dishes that have a great taste to it. Service is fantastic, if you don’t know what to order the people there are more than happy to help you and very kind and easy to talk to Hospitality is at its finest for sure here. The lumpia was piping hot and fantastic. Their 2 meat silog was also great. Overall food was great and had big portion sizes We also got free ice cream! Note there is a 3% credit card usage fee so pay with cash if u prefer Overall parking is easy
Such a good Philiopino spot! The burrito is soooo good and they brought our dog some water too!
We had a party of 8 and server handled us extremely well even anticipating what our 3year old and 1yr old would need. Flavors were excellent. It was humorous that they were westernizing all the food names for us. Tocino sweet bacon Longonisa sweet sausage Etc.
Love this cozy place for the tasty Filipino food (no msg) and friendly staff. The place is a little small but has lots of character!
Before you settle your bill, make sure to check it carefully. The prices have been increased by 4%, which seems to be a response to minimum wage laws, but it is unclear if this additional cost actually benefits the staff.
Tapsilog Bistro offers a Filipino comfort food experience with huge portions and a cozy, friendly atmosphere. The food received mixed reviews, with some dishes being greasy and salty, while others were unique and delicious. The staff was praised for their excellent service and menu suggestions. The restaurant implements a 4% surcharge which has received mixed feedback. Overall, Tapsilog Bistro seems to be a hit or miss based on individual preferences, but worth a visit for those seeking nostalgic Filipino flavors and a welcoming environment.

Not sure why it took me so long to try Tapsilog Bistro! We ordered a lunch for a Saturday brunch. We had the pork lumpia shanghai, pork sizzling sisig, 2 meat silog, pork roast, chicken shanghai and elysic room dust to extinguish our thirst. The food was hot. Everything was very good. We definitely ordered over, but perfect for leftovers:D Shoutout to Cathy and Sarah to take care of us. They also asked if I wanted to try their homemade cheesecake. I decided to give it a try and bring it back for my mother to try it! She enjoyed it! They attack a 4% surcharge, but their service definitely supports it! Parking should not be a problem. Enough to be back in the near future! Follow the adventure @shoyuthebest on IG!
The food was delicious. Check the business hours. They're not always open. I saw very authentic. Beer on tap.
Came here in April 2021. Recommended by my cousin's Filipino wife. You're going for breakfast, but we decided to go for dinner. We ordered fried pampano, chicken wings, lumps (egg rolls), lechon (fried pork), pancite (fried noodles), longsilog (filipino sausage), pork roast and a pork dish. The whole food was well presented and delicious. Please note that I have little to no experience with real Filipino food. I personally tried a variety of kitchens in Asia, but not philippine dishes specifically. My non-filipino expert taste buds really liked the different flavors and textures of this meal. My favorites were the roasted Pampano and Lechon (crispy skin pork). The lumps (egg rolls) and other fried items would be eaten better in the restaurant to keep the delicate crypt nature of each dish. All in all a very good experience and I will come back.
Pork Lumpia was amazing. The Adobo pig was quite fat, but had good taste. The garlic was perfection.
This place looks like a sport bar but actually serves comfort food. We got a longsilog and a beef soup. They were both very good. The only not-so-good experience was that the menu was a bit complicated for first time customers.

I admire this place! They have excellent meals, they have a nice menu, The chief cook in that place is a real pro, I love very much trying all their food. The dishes are always good, the attitude towards the customers is friendly. I often eat in this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all my friends.
Great ambience and very attentive service. The meals were fresh and delicious. Will surely recommend this spot to my friends. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Great work.
Comfort food Filipino style.....Wow! Stopped in for our first visit. Ed, the owner greeted us personally like he does with all customers. Offered us menu suggestions based on what we were in the mood for. Our meal came very fast. Food was fresh, very quick, tasty and there was so much food, the portions were huge. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly so much so that there's a great family vibe here. Highly recommend.

Pork sisig was not bad didn't come with pork face, ears, cheek. The liempo (pork belly) was very good. Garlic rice was meh. Fried egg was a lil overcooked yolk wasn't runny. Presentation is great. Would come back here to try other items. Be prepared to smell like food if you dine inside.

The food is superb as well as the staff. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch
I have been eating here for years more so when I lived in the area. Now, whenever I am in the area for appointments. Today, I was craving some pigs blood, so I ordered the dinuguan, but I asked to throw in some pig ears to get that little crunch. Ed, the owner added pig ears one day when I was sitting at his bar, and I have been hooked since. Growing up eating moms cooking, it is always hard to find places that make it similar to her flavors, but this dish brings back childhood memories of her when she was still with us. It was an amazing lunch. The silog here is also on point. I usually have the lechon. Stop by and support local business! Ed has a Santa Clara location where he is usually at so, swing by for a home cooked meal or order to go. They also provide catering services. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Parking space: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: This is a family friendly restaurant.
Love Tapsilog Bistro as some of the best food around. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
