Out if business, extremely sad since theres not many bbq places in San Jose. I would drive across town for this
This Dickeys is no more! The phone is shut off, the inside is under construction, there is no more fried okra in San Jose!! The BBQ wasn't ever great but their sides and Italian chicken worked fine. They will be missed, especially as mentioned their fried okra.
This review is way overdue but from my past experience if I could give 10 stars I would. I have always had a wonderful experience and delicious fresh food at a great price! The owner/ manager really takes costumer service to another level. I like the soft serve ice cream too!
Pulled pork with the original sauce was amazing!!!! Been here a few time, everyone is always nice and happy to see you. Owner is really nice always talks to me. The free ice cream is what puts this place over the top! Love it!!!!
Dickeys management reallyyyyy take after their name. I have a fancy dancy coupon which entitles me to 6 free wings. Big deal right ? The manager came out and told me participation varies by location but not in the nice way. In the hey I'm a flaming racist way. I asked where on the coupon it says that because ... long behold this Yelp elite can read fine print... he just got moarrrr madddd which made this place even more like a flaming Texas smoke pit. All I wanted was the 6 free wings with another order in the side. Instead I had to roast this dude on reading skills and leave hungry. This is worst then having your roomates gf over and she's alll territorial about the house she doesn't even pay rent at. Anyways avoid this place if you expect the normal dickies, and flock to this place if you want the double dickies down
