This restaurant is my favourite for lunch in Campbell River - try the roasted chicken breast sandwich or the delicious grilled cheese! Plus, the banana bread and coffee is excellent. View all feedback.

What User dislikes about Java Shack:
Earlier they have wonderful customer service and good experience here, this summer they have a new dark haired girl working and never blurred about the way she talked to us, how we were stupid, nor did she have anything... we asked her just stared us empty and said "I don't know" View all feedback.

One of the best lunch spots in Campbell River. Great sandwiches and good Coffee. I think you can even ask for it Aussie style. Not sure if that girl still works there.

So delish! Fresh ingredients with local flair, I recommend the boss sandwich! I also had a loose leaf tea that was fantastic.

What a lovely little coffee shop, but with mighty fine breakfast menu! After a few long days on the road, it was a great place to stop in for breakfast to give us the energy to continue on with our travels. My friend and I both had the stuffed breakfast croissant; him with a coffee and a tea for me. Absolutely delicious. It was a bit intimidating at first - it is very stuffed. But very flavourful and made with very fresh ingredients. The proximity to the Quadra Island ferry is also great. Strongly recommend!

Mold on most of the blueberriesMissing the red pepper sauce on our eggs polennyThe dark roast coffee was lukewarm but the medium was hot.

I have visited this place a few times over the yearsThe coffee is excellent (I'm picky about my java) and the food is great.
