A&W Restaurant - Campbell River

This is obviously not a gourmet place. However, compared to competitors it isn't too bad. The burgers are good and the breakfast plate is certainly above average.

When I use a coupon I get ****. When not using a coupon I get the real deal. Nothing like the great burgers you got in the 70's, it isn't the same. Won't be going there again.

My husband and I don't like fast food. However, there seemed to be a bunch of these restaurants located in the areas we were traveling to on this trip. We had never tried an A&W restaurant before. The burgers were okay. The root beer floats were amazing! So, tasty and you receive them in a chilled mug. If you are into sweet drinks definitely go to an A&W!

My husband I have come here often but the last few times we've ordered the chicken burgers and ended up with upset stomachs so we don't go anymore.

Good central location.Accomodating, with breakfast being served well after11 am which I suspect was because the place was full of elders getting a great meal..full breakfast of toast ,sausage ,eggs cooked to your liking, served on a china plate slightly less than 7 dollars..and they brewed a pot of fresh decaf for a lady in minutes..drive thru , lots of parking..the worst thing was the huge cloud of flies in the dining room and the dated bathrooms..
