We very nearly didn't go in, the entrance looks to say the least rather unappealing but we'd already decided against several other places so we entered and clim... read more We very nearly didn't go in, the entrance looks to say the least rather unappealing but we'd already decided against several other places so we entered and climbed the unattractive steps up to the first floor restaurant... and boy were we rewarded! The restaurant areas looked very clean and welcoming, and the bonus was the beautiful views over the mouth of the river Minho. The staff are friendly and helpful and the servings generous and tasty. There's a wide variety of dishes on offer and the choices we made were delicious. Definitely worth a visit!

W... read more We went to Remo Restaurant in mid March to have dinner. The place was empty (maybe due to the bad weather). The staff was very nice and the service was quick. We had the prawns and squid skewer, with peppers, chorizo, onions, and a side of punched roasted potatoes, greens and beets. The portion was very generous and everything was delicious. They also serve sushi and meat dishes. It has a beautiful riverside scenery.
