They weren't busy when we went through the drive-thru so it didn't take long to get our food. However, our food wasn't hot.

On a road trip and decided to try this restaurant. I was so pleasantly surprised I returned and got another chicken biscuit. It was delicious.
Everything is well, except my most recent stop. The fryer needs cleaning and fresh oil. My fries had a bitter and metallic taste. I've never experienced this in my previous visits. But you are conveniently right on the highway that I travel, so I willbe back.;
Just FYI...... because it's a hour before closing doesn't mean the quality of the food doesn't matter. Quality, good service, hot fresh food should be produced from start to finish. I've worked in the restaurant business before and paying costumers wanttheir food hot and fresh!!! Especially with the prices of combos/food these days!! The food we were serviced on tonight wasdisgusting. Only thing that was decent was the fries and Dr Pepper. Maybe I should have stated.... Give me the oldest, driest,food you have left instead of requesting hot and fresh food. And having to request hot and fresh food shouldn't be necessarybecause that's how it should be served anyway!!! A
