I was shocked when the server didn’t know what the specials were, esse... read more I needed a last-minute restaurant that could accommodate 12 people at 5:00 on a Saturday. I was shocked when the server didn’t know what the specials were, essentially telling us to look at the board ourselves. She also didn’t have any information about the soups or whether they had honey mustard dressing. My son ordered the meatloaf, but when it arrived, it was drenched in a unappetizing gravy to the point where we wouldn’t have recognized it as meatloaf and mashed potatoes if he hadn’t told us. My husband received a plate of white gravy that we assume was covering chicken-fried steak. My daughter’s enchilada was served ice cold, and my chicken strips resembled breaded cardboard, lacking any flavor. The steak fries were soggy. To top it off, my son ended up getting sick right around the corner from the building. Now I understand why we were able to get a reservation for such a large group on such short notice. I really can’t fathom how this place has so many stars—perhaps it’s a holdover from the previous owners.
