Rush's #8 - Camden
Rush's #8
Description
Known for its chili cheeseburger, generous portions and classic regional fast‑food flavors, this spot often serves hot, satisfying burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and sweet tea that outshine national chains. Visits vary: many praise quick drive‑thru service and friendly staff, while others report rude employees, slow shake service and occasional unclean tables. Overall it’s a good-value, casual stop for travelers, families and budget diners—just expect inconsistent service and sporadic cleanliness.

It was reminiscent of Burger King, but unfortunately, the hamburgers were cold. It's puzzling how a restaurant can have comment cards at every table for customer feedback yet still have unclean tables that we had to search for. Overall, our experience felt like a $30 waste for two cheeseburger baskets.
The cheeseburgers here are the best in town! The milkshakes are fantastic as well, and the restaurant is very clean.
This restaurant is fantastic; I really enjoy the chicken and burgers. However, I wish the baskets came with drinks included. Additionally, they should inform customers that the BBQ sauce is mustard-based. I’m not a fan of mustard, and it was the most unappetizing thing I've ever tasted. My husband spent $30 on two mustard-based BBQ sandwiches and drinks.
The chili cheeseburger is my favorite, but the slaw dogs, fried chicken and BBQ are all worth trying. The drive thru was fast and the staff were nice. The fries were a little soggy this time (could be the heat of the fries inside the bag). The sweet tea is generally good and was great on this visit. If only there were more Rush's locations...
