The restaurant has a beautiful setting and the staff is really great. The reviews for the Sunday roast were good, so we decided to try it out. The gallery is located from west end lane and is one of the lively places to go to west hampstead for post-work drinks or a swanking schnapps and burrow festival. it is a cute room, with tables on an intermediate floor, a large space in the cellar and people sitting with their beins through the windows when it is sunny. serve wein, a good selection of cocktails, which is about £7 (or £5 to 10 on their popular cocktail club Thursdays) and surprisingly good eating, it offers an excellent formula. a good choice to accompany drinks is their tapas selection that they can choose 4 of for £20. Among the special favorites are crispy pulled pork croquettes, grilled halloumi with an incredible berries jam, sweet potato fryinges and salt pepper squid. the portion sizes are generous, so 4 between 2 of them is a lot of food, but at a tense each good worth. Alternatiw can be 3 for £15.50 I have not tried their big teller (burger, fishcake and the like) or sunday roasts, but if they are of similar quality, they will not be disappointed.
Went in for a quick drink and I'm glad we found this place. The staff are friendly and the place has a great vibe.
We hired the place for our (2 year delayed) 40th. It was a brilliant venue not too big or small, separate floors, unbelievablly helpful and friendly staff and great food. Thanks so much.
