With a cozy yet simple decor, it features an enticing menu of freshly made sandwiches, including the standout ‘Barese’, along with pasta and risotto. Though some dishes are microwaved, the generous portions and commitment to authentic flavors compensate for this. The friendly owner and bustling atmosphere, often filled with lively Italian chatter and football, create an inviting space that keeps locals coming back for more, making it a must-visit for authentic Italian fare at incredible value.
My sandwich, the picante had spicy salami (which had a beautiful fleshy texture, not impractical as so much salami), sunk tomatoes (which were a little adstringing, but hey, I was after something picante), gurke and salat (cooling) and mortadella, which helped neutralize the combinations of aromen and add more texture.
I went with mother to italia uno. this is a really good place as it has a good and cozy atmosphere./ some of the best dishes on this place were tandoori huhn and chicken salad with chicken wings./ I would recommend you to go to this outlet.

It doesn't get much more italian than that. go here in a midday time and see a whole family at work: servedish, broth cut and salami grind. the sandwiches are to die, all about £4 packed with a fine series of meat, cheese and oil. the queues are long to every lunchtime, but as soon as they have set their order, the service is very fast. this is great when they eat, but if they take something, be aware that it is worth going to 12 o'clock instead of 1 o'clock to save 10-15 minutes, they are waiting for order. large eating, simple decor: far from the most beautiful place to eat a bite, but certainly one of the most authentic.
This is a really cool, authentic Italian joint at the charlotte street, right opposite the Saatchi building. they know that it is the real offer, because if there is a great Italian football game, the place is overflowing with passionate Italians. a lunch when it was a little less busy, I went for a sandwich. it was probably the freshest, rounded cold sandwich I had in london. the ingredients, I should add, were not only fresh, but of a very high quality. it really felt like I was at a small place in rom and sure I was back with a revenge. if they are in particular a UCL student, this is a perfect place to choose for a relatiw cheap, very tasty lunch. Fucking flanders.
