We were there today. All fresh food: hamburg and hot dogs were not the frozen variety. Quick and cooked exactly as we asked. Cash sales only. It is located in the Reny 's parking lot so lots of free parking and there are picnic tables in the area. There is a new food shack to comply with food service laws from what the photo shows. Prices are oh so reasonable. They are open 12 months out of the year, but with reduced... View all feedback.
What Vickie Schlak doesn't like about Scott's Place:
What a disappointment. Our first stop on Maine Coastal trip. We thought we were well prepared for lobster rolls. We came here because of reviews. The website quoted $10 on the higher end. We paid $17 for a lobster roll in a small hot dog bun with mediocre amount of lobster. It did taste good but lacked in substance. Would not return. Onion rings were ok. Follow up. This little food stand has the best burgers in town, just like old-fashioned diners or dimestore food counters have. Great selection of sandwiches, burgers, and hot dogs! Take out or sit at picnic tables. Locals and tourists love this place! Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Easy parking in the lot.

Great food quick service, my wife likes there chowder
CASH or check ONLY!!! Our mistake that we didn’t realize this was cash only before showing up here. There was an ATM in the complex however it was out of service. Luckily we had $10 cash on us and were able to get 2 deluxe cheese burgers which had mayo, lettuce, and tomato. The burgers were small, but the price made it worth it. I didn’t realize you have to ask to have ketchup on your burger, so the mayo that was on it from the deluxe option was fine. This little shack is in parking lot with other establishments. They have picnic tables. Service was quick
During my recent visit to Maine, I had the pleasure of visiting Scott's Place, where I indulged in their renowned lobster roll. The lobster roll I ordered was nothing short of exceptional. The lobster meat was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and perfectly complemented by a light dressing. Every bite was a delight, showcasing the quality and freshness of the ingredients used. One aspect that particularly impressed me was the value for money. Despite the high quality of the dish, the price was reasonable, making it a great choice for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious lobster roll without breaking the bank. The overall dining experience at Scott's Place was delightful. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Maine, I highly recommend stopping by Scott's Place for a taste of their fantastic lobster roll. It's a culinary experience you won't soon forget.
