Malassada World in Cambridge is a hidden gem worth visiting for Portuguese doughnut lovers. The assortment of malassadas, both traditional and signature, are fresh and delicious. The small storefront is charming despite limited seating. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are friendly. The unique flavors like apple crumble and passion fruit add a modern twist to a classic dessert. Although malassadas are best enjoyed fresh, they are definitely worth the trip from Mississauga. Don't miss out on trying the custard-filled donuts and the ube cheesecake if the malassadas are sold out. Overall, Malassada World is a delightful experience for doughnut enthusiasts.

Was Anonym at Malasada World a mag?
I came across a friends post on Facebook about Malassada World that peak my curiosity. Called up my cousins and headed out there from Mississauga. It was definitely worth the trip. I tried both the traditional and signature malassadas. Both are delicious. My favorite is definitely the passion fruit one! I found the prices to be reasonable. They made the malassadas fresh for us. There weren't many left in the display.... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Malasada World:
Picked up a dozen assorted. Ate them shortly after. The six of us that sampled them all thought the same thing....they tasted like "day olds" - rather stale. Expensive to boot. Will not be returning. View all feedback.

This is no Tim Hortons - fresh, hand made, hand decorated donuts to die for. Expensive though...9 donuts, $23. But something special.

There weren't many left in the display. As we were waiting, quite a few people came in...the wait wasn't long. It's a small store front not much room to sit. Very cute set-up. We had a few malassada left over and had them the next day...they were still very good. I definitely make the trip again.
Disappointed to find that they were out of the popular malasadas. However, we decided to try some of their other pastries and were pleasantly surprised. The custard-filled donuts were delicious and the ube cheesecake was to die for. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I would definitely recommend giving Malasada World a try if you're in the area.
