Snappers Waterfront Cafe - Cambridge

We 've been messing around on the upper Chesapeake Bay for the last six weeks, were in Cambridge, Maryland and decided to have lunch at Snappers Waterfront Cafe. Snappers is on the west bank of Cambridge Creek, next door to the J.M. Clayton Seafood Company and practically in the middle of Cambridge 's working waterfront. Super cute (and unexpected) Tiki Bar restaurant on the water. Stopped by for a frozen drink and a snack after walking around downtown and finding them on Google Maps and was pleasantly surprised. If I had been staying in town or had more time, I 'd have come back to the bar later too catch more Tiki vibes.

The price is average. However, the Crab Balls 6 for $19) had a lot of fillers an it was hard to taste the Crab in it. The Crab balls were market which was fine. The Crab Dip in the bread bowl $17) had so much cream cheese and onion in it I could taste the Crab in it either.

I was afraid to try this place after seeing some of the reviews, but my husband and I had a great lunch here. We had the conch fritters, snapper sandwich, and crab roll. Everything was yummy. The crabmeat was so fresh. It's early in the season; I was impressed. I'm already looking forward to my next crab roll. The service was quick and friendly. We really liked our waitress.
