Parsnip Restaurant - Feedback

Was Monica Renaud at Parsnip Restaurant a mag?
Starting with coat room the staff is so friendly, accommodating and helpful. We attended a company holiday event in the beautiful lounge. The food was lovely to look at and even better to eat. I have now also enjoyed the Parsnip for my birthday. It was a lovely experience, near the fireplace and their decorated tree. Love it! View all feedback.
What Frederick Bosco dislikes about Parsnip Restaurant:
The room is beautiful and elegant, the service was great, the food was just ok and expensive. This was our second time. The first, about a year ago, the food was fabulous. They had no non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu. We asked the bartender to make one for us and it was terrible. View all feedback.

What a delightful and surprise find! We went as a group of 4 because someone had recommended it Bright, cheery and airy decor.
Excellent food and serviceAtmosphere is mid-century and comfortableServing size was a bit small but on par with any nice restaurant.
I had this place in my mind's eye for a while and we finally made our way here for brunch recently.
We dined at this restaurant for the first time for Father's Day. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It felt upscale in decor and atmosphere and the full-bar area looked like a place I'd like to return to. Service was very good also. Everyone was impressed with their meals and we had an enjoyable time. Would definitely return.
PM is one of what I consider "top drawer dining" restaurants. Customer focused staff- courteous and attentive to your needs. Good people skills are evident. The food as always is second to none. My wife and I had a lovely conversation with the manager/co-owner. Our server was a gracious young woman. Our experience at PM today and always was a "reason to come back again" experience.
The restaurant offers a diverse range of dishes that receive praise for their excellent flavor and quality. Some standout items include the chimichurri chicken, the Chicken Cobb Salad, the Steelhead Salmon, and the salt and pepper shrimp. While the service is generally good, there are some mixed reviews regarding attentiveness. The ambiance varies from elegant and beautiful to crowded and noisy, depending on the time and day of the visit. Overall, the restaurant seems to provide a memorable dining experience for most patrons, with a few minor hiccups in service and consistency.

Parsnip is a fantastic restaurant located in the heart of Harvard Square, offering delicious food and cocktails in a classy environment. Formerly known as Upstairs On the Square, Parsnip surprised me with its excellent dining experience. The atmosphere is elegant and upscale, the food is a blend of French, Italian, and Asian influences, and the service is laid back. The standout dish of the night was the roasted carrots, with its various textures and well-balanced flavors. Other dishes, such as the Eggplant Agedashi and hand rolled Capunti pasta, were also delicious and comforting. The main courses of Rohan Duck and Smoked Gnocchi were outstanding as well. Desserts were decent but not as impressive as the savory dishes. Overall, Parsnip has the potential to be a brilliant dining spot and I look forward to returning.
We visited the restaurant on a Monday night and found it to be relatively empty. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. The cocktails were enjoyable as well. However, we felt that the service could have been more attentive. It seemed to be a slower day for the restaurant, and we were hoping for quicker and more attentive service. Despite this, we would consider returning on a different day.
Unbelievable experience! Went with a large group and was the only vegan. We all ordered the multi course meal so I had no idea what I was going to get. What I got was amazing! The chef made something unique for me and I was the envy of the table. Here are just two of the amazing dishes I got. Can't wait to go back!
Exceptional drinks and service, very nice atmosphere. Highly recommended good quality (not overly sweet) cocktails. Great food as well, although a bit pricy.
