Area 4 presents a lively atmosphere paired with an eclectic menu that captivates pizza enthusiasts. While some patrons rave about the unique toppings and delightful salads, others have noted inconsistencies in meal quality, especially with crust texture and ingredient selection. Area Four consistently delivers delicious and creative dishes. The Mushroom Fontina pizza is a standout favorite, along with the Brussels Sprout and kale salad. I also enjoyed the Leafy Greens with green beans and fennel, as well as the Caesar salad—both were excellent. Our server was friendly and very attentive.
I visited the restaurant on a Monday night, and it was quite loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. I think outdoor seating would have been preferable, but we did see mice wandering around the patio from our window seat. The pizza was decent at best. The meat pizza was overly salty, and the bottom crust was undercooked. The second pizza had tomatoes that were not fully ripe. Overall, I wouldn’t go back, especially considering the high prices for the location.
I'm really happy that brunch service (and the breakfast pizza) has returned! Dining on the patio is always a pleasure.
