What Daniel Maldonado doesn't like about Violette Gluten Free Bakery:
This restaurant represents the essence of gentrification. They charge $14 for a small loaf of bread and have reserved parking spaces that are never used. I visited the store once and considered buying bread, but it appeared dusty and was priced at $14. View all feedback.

Overall, eating was delicious and not too expensive when you look at two special diets plus city prices.
I was really excited to find a local GF bakery where everything was labeled and there were plenty of vegan options! Both online and their storefront have labels, but Dairy Free (DF) means egg but no dairy, so look for the vegan labels specifically if you're vegan. A ton of their baked goods have DF options, so if you have a milk allergy or eat eggs but not dairy, almost everything is accessible! We ordered a handful of things for Christmas a take and bake pot pie (that we totally underbaked, oops), some rosemary sourdough rolls that were a bit dry, and some absolutely excellent and moist cupcakes. Overall, the food was delicious and not too expensive considering two specialty diets plus city prices.
