The staff at this restaurant were friendly, but seemed to lack knowledge and organization. It felt chaotic, like a scene from "Lord of the Flies" in an upscale bar/restaurant. The waitress didn't write down our orders and took orders for drinks, starters, and mains all at once, which was stressful. To our surprise, the vegetarian Wellington that we specifically asked for as a vegan option came with Yorkshire pudding. They took one away, but we had to bring the other one up ourselves. They claimed to have changed the plate, but I didn't see any evidence of this. It took them almost an hour to clear our table after we finished, so we ended up just paying and leaving. I will never return, and I advise others to avoid this place. Additionally, they brought out our mains without clearing away the empty bowls from the starters, although the butternut squash soup starter was delicious.

We sat down and waited for about 20 minutes before a waitress took our order. She took our food order first before asking about drinks and did not write anything down. The menu included a butternut squash Wellington as a vegan option, which I specifically requested. When the Wellington arrived, it came with a large Yorkshire pudding on the plate. I inquired about its vegan status, and the waitress informed me that it was the vegetarian option. After requesting a vegan meal, they returned with a new plate without the Yorkshire pudding. Despite finishing our meal, our plates were not cleared, and no one came to check on us or take our dessert order for about 45 minutes. Ultimately, we settled our bill at the bar and left without dessert. It was a disappointing experience overall.

The staff at the restaurant were friendly, but seemed somewhat inexperienced. It felt like being in an upscale bar/restaurant with a staff that was unsure of what they were doing. The waitress didn't write down our orders and mixed up our drinks, appetizers, and mains all at once, which was concerning. The vegetarian Wellington we ordered, thinking it was vegan, came with Yorkshire pudding. When we asked for a vegan option, they took one away and brought the wrong one back. They claimed they had made a mistake but we saw no evidence of that. The table wasn't cleared for almost an hour after we finished and we ended up just paying and leaving. I would not return to this restaurant and would advise others not to go there either. The main course was served without clearing away the empty bowls from the starters, although the butternut squash soup starter was delicious.

Saw down and waited well for 20 minutes. The waitress came and took our order, first before drinks. She didn't write anything. Menu had a Butternut Squash Wellington as a vegan option. I asked about the vegan Wellington and said it again, vegan option Wellington. I was afraid she didn't write it down. Wellington came up with a huge Yorkshire pudding on the plate. I asked if that was vegan. The waitress said: Yes, it is the vegetarian. I said we wanted vegan and can check them out the yorkshire pudding is vegan. They went and checked and then I said I would have specified that I wanted the vegan option. What I knew, twice!! They took our food back and bought it back without the Yorkshire pudding and said they had changed the plates. We then sat about 45 minutes after dinner. Our plates were not removed at this time, no one came to check the meal or to take our Dessert order. After 45 minutes we went to the bar and left this bill and left. Such a shame! The staff were friendly, but seemed unsure of their roles. The atmosphere felt more like a casual bar than an upscale restaurant. The waitress didn't jot down our orders and instead tried to take orders for drinks, appetizers, and mains all at once, which was a bit overwhelming. Our vegetarian Wellington, which we requested as the vegan option, came with Yorkshire pudding. When we asked for a correction, they took one away and we had to ask for the other one back. They claimed they had changed the plate, but we didn't see any proof of this. The table wasn't cleared for almost an hour after we finished eating. We decided to just pay and leave. We will not be returning and wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others. They also served our mains before clearing the empty bowls from our starters. Despite the delicious butternut squash soup, these mishaps left a negative impression.
