my brother (very meat eat) loves grendel’s that for the atmosphere, 1/2 expensive eat and the garbage-free mission of operation, so he brought me there to the premise that I would also love this thing. I did, and was pleased with vegan decisions that, although not marked, were clearly explained, and spanned very healthy (saladen, quinoa and tofu), too fat or less than healthy (nachos burger.) What TRAY C doesn't like about Grendel's Den:
Cozy underground atmosphere and decent drinks. Delighted to see a French 75 on the cocktail list. Happy hour has a good deal, 1/2 food with a drink purchase between 2:30-7:30pm. Not much for vegans at all. I had an impossible burger on a bun, but didn't eat the sauce because it looked suspicious. My husband had portobello burger minus all the fixings because they were dairy based. So pretty bland eats. Side dish cons... View all feedback.

I dropped on the quinoa stone with added tofu, and it was delicious, healthy and filled while I enjoyed a local pub vibe. the three children in our party 11 and among them were very happy with their eating and were very welcome. the 1/2 price-performance ratio was a special perk.
Unfortunately, I give Grendel 's a solid star after an experience I had last night, March 13, 2020. I went there several times and always loved it. I and some of my friends decided to mutate it last night and fire it from the house the coronavirus fear. At Grendel's, the bartender was great, happy that some people were out. A person who has eaten a little too much to drink spilled beer on their phone at the bar. As a normal, nice person, I took some napkins and gave the guy next to me to give the girl to save her phone. The Lord next to me put the napkins that were not back in the stack that was behind the bar. That's why I'm not going back. Five minutes later, a woman came to the gentleman who sat next to me and asked if I were his friend. He said he just met me during the situation with the person who spilled beer on her phone. This woman then went on to say, "You never stuffed your hand behind my bar again. It's not your Cking bar. Okay, maybe an overreaction on her part. I'm sorry I just tried to help. I'm not worried about the king, I don't touch things in my bar. In short, this person obviously owns the bar and is really terrible for people who visit their bar. It does not help if people spill beer on their phones and scream the mosquitoes when they help. Of course, if you treat your stomachs like garbage, they will share their history where they can. Don't go here, the owner's not nice. Edit: the bartender and other staff were great, they should get a job at another bar that treats their customers friendly.
Cosy underground atmosphere and decent drinks. Inflamed to see a French 75 on the cocktail list. Happy Hour has a good deal, 1/2 food with a drink purchase between 2:30-7:30. Not much for vegans at all. I had an impossible burger on a bungalow, but the sauce didn't eat because it looked suspicious. My husband had Portobello Burger minus all fixations because they were milk base. So pretty Bland eats. Supplement consisted of potato chip crumbs. Server hardly told us two words and did not offer much other than a napkin and cutlery.
It is nice that they have the impossible burger and good happy hour prices.
