The Fox - Cambridge

I enjoyed a lovely lunch today at this restaurant. I chose to sit outside because I had my dogs with me, but they are also welcome in the bar area inside and the garden. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. As a big fan of halloumi, I can confidently say it was the best I have ever had. The chili jam was delightful and a nice change from the typical chili sauce. The portions were just right, the staff was friendly, and the service was quick. I will definitely be returning.

The bar staff were very friendly and created a good atmosphere last night. They served the best pint in Cambridge.

The restaurant offers tasty food, has a welcoming staff, and provides good value for money. Unfortunately, the carvery was closed due to personal reasons. However, the ala carte dining experience was excellent. The atmosphere may not be the most cozy, and some of the locals were a bit lively, but overall it was a pleasant dining experience.

Fantastic day, for the banquet day. brilliant food trucks, music was great, all staff friendly and helpful. stalls were also good.

No carvery (as hoped for due to Covid restrictions, but had a lovely steak ale pie steak with sweet potato chips, tomato, mushroom peas. Lady serving (believe she was the Landlady) had a lovely manner sense of humour. Lots of boards on the walls tables with funny quotes jokey statements, which we enjoyed reading, too! It was very quiet, but appeared to be quite a nice place to eat and/or drink. Thought I had done pics of the meal quotes/funnies, but can't seem to access them Altogether, a good visit.
