The restaurant offers delicious Spanish cuisine with a vegan twist. The patatas bravas and authentic aubergine sandwich/slider were outstanding. The meal was great value for money and very filling. View all feedback.
We were drawn to the food stall by the owner offering passersby a taste of the patatas bravas with aioli. When we declined because we were vegan, he quickly provided us with a vegan version to try. We were so impressed that we ordered a full portion. Despite living in Spain for a year, these bravas were the best we had ever tasted! They were crunchy, salty, fatty, garlicky, and delicious. We had been looking for the stall for months, always missing it, but finally found it this weekend and ordered a variety of dishes including the aubergine, lettuce, and aioli sandwich with patatas bravas, and the deep-fried aubergine fries. Everything was delicious and the whole meal (enough for three people) cost only £17! We were too full for the chocolate churros but will definitely try them next time. The owner was happy to serve our food in reusable plastic boxes. Surprisingly, the entire menu was vegetarian (mostly vegan except for mayo and a cheese-based sandwich) with no ham. In conclusion, the food was unbelievably good and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vegan lunch in Cambridge. It was delicious, authentic, and affordable.
I really loved the meal special featuring the vegan eggplant sandwich and potatoes bravas with housemade vegan aioli. This review was updated on July 29, 2023.
This restaurant serves delicious Spanish cuisine that is not as commonly found as vegan options. The patatas bravas were the best I've ever had, and the aubergine sandwich/slider was authentically prepared and beautifully presented. The meal was great value and very satisfying.
I've had sandwiches from here a few times, both vegan and vegetarian. They're consistently very good tasty sauces and very filling. I also really recommend the patatas bravas (which you can get vegan) with its excellent tomato sauce and the fried aubergine too. Everything comes in good portions too, it's excellent value for what you get. The owner is really friendly and happy to talk about dietary requirements.
