A good local pub with some good cask beers from the Milton Brewery. We went for a Sunday roast as a family and were very well looked after. Note that we only went to the pub I can't give an opinion on the hotel part! View all feedback.
What Rebecca Manship doesn't like about Lord Byron:
We visited earlier this week after finding the Lord Byron online, searching for a dog friendly pub in Trumpington. On arrival there was a sign on the door saying 'guide dogs only '. Confused by this we asked the bar server who confirmed dogs are not welcome inside, but we could sit outside. It was a very cold wet day!!! Needless to say, we went elsewhere! View all feedback.
Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff. Great bar, Very good food both for dinner and breakfast. Room was large enough and beds comfortable. Bathroom was spotless and large enough. Very good shower. Easy parking and very well located for access to city and other tourist attractions.

This pub is not Dog friendly as advertised, so unless you want to sit outside on a wet day with your pooch then go and spend your money elsewhere
Service, room and food was great, however, first impressions were not great, scrap cars in the car park, bin area very untidy and the garden needs a good tidying up.
Simple but clean rooms. From the cleaner to the (young) host, they were exceptionally friendly and competent. Good cuisine and nice ambience. Only recommended.
