Cotto is one of the few best restaurants in Cambridge, with a Michelin star cook and service. It has recently moved to the Gonville Hotel, and it makes a very comfortable and upscale setting, with most tables a great view of the Parkers Piece. It is difficult to book, but it is worth waiting and costs. We did not come to the "Schmuck Menu", but the selection was very rich and some dishes quite amazing (all very refin... View all feedback.
What Theresa Stewart doesn't like about Cotto:
Visited the place for the second time. Absolutely amazing food but at a high price. Consistent quality and outstanding presentation. However, charging £60 for a three course menu I would expect exceptional service. It was mediocre. Treat it as a cafe bistro instead of a Michelin-Starred restaurant, even though it cost about the same to dine in one, you would be a lot happier. Lack of a table cloth, and a smile from s... It was a wonderful night filled with delicious food, great service and divine drinks! Would recommend going for a contract or a special occasion! We had a trio of duck and tuna to begin, it was so delicious! Both chose lamb for main, and for dessert: almond, apricot cake and cherry with mascara! Really enjoyed everything!
One of the prestige fine restaurants in Cambridge (personally speaking, it reaches Michelin Standard from all perspectives). The food is excellent. Extremely delicate and tasteful makes every mouthful an exploration and joy. The lobster soup is heartwarming and satisfying in a cold winter day. The Sashimi are all fresh, without even a tiny piece of fish taste. The lamb is so delicate that it simply melts into the mouth and leaves the thick taste of the jus. the heald is relatively light and refreshing, perfectly combined with the natural sweetness of roasted and filled potatoes. It is far beyond my expectation and would strongly recommend here.
Fantastic food, fantastic service, highly recommended! The food was just great, every dish was really nice, the service was friendly and helpful... the overall experience was excellent and we would like to come back!

The waiter was very knowledgeable and gave good advice and advice. Well done, Hans Schweitzer!
An excellent restaurant in the Gonville Hotel. The food quality is first class, better than I have experienced in some Michelin starred establishments. The ambience is modern and very smart and still intimate and cosy. The service on our visit was immaculate with staff very knowledgeable about the food and wine. Service is reasonably formal and attentive without being stuffy or intrusive. Highly recommended for a visit.
