Contribute FeedbackBill's in Cambridge offers a mixed dining experience. While some diners enjoy the professional service and great food, others faced issues with food quality and service. Some dishes, such as the pancake stack and vegan burger, fell short of expectations. Additionally, concerns were raised about close table arrangements during COVID, lack of face masks on staff, and flickering lights. Despite these issues, some diners had a lovely experience with good value meals and excellent service. Mixed reviews make Bill's a choice to consider carefully when dining out in Cambridge.
Great meal, lovely atmosphere with attentive service. The portion sizes could have been a little bigger, but we ate from the eat out to save the world menu, so was understandable. We will be back thank you Bill’s for a lovely evening x
We received a great welcome when we arrived and the staff were very attentive, giving the impression that they really cared that we enjoyed our meal. I was disappointed that there was no mustard on the premises to go with the steak, but other than that the food was very good. The half price deal meant the meal was excellent value
We ordered a course set menu. The chicken and mashed potato was fine but I expected more green veg. Definitely not worth The dessert I ordered took so long to come we cancelled it and left. The waiter was lovely and not his fault
A lovely meal my seabream was delicious and my daughter loved her vegetarian risotto, both on the bargain lunch menu. Excellent in every way
Meal was good value. I had seabass fillets with spinach and mash. Was delicious. Service was slow. Over half an hour from placing order until food arrived. Seemed to be plenty of waiters but nobody really enthusiastic. Had to ask for water twice. Good ambience, interesting decor. Social distancing good. Temperature checked at door
