What David Grove dislikes about The Chippy:
Worst fish chips we’ve ever had all you could taste was oil, the batter was slimy and the chips burnt, absolutely disgusting. The highlight were the mushy peas and they were luke warm. Great food, all freshly cooked, well worth the drive. Gluten Free items on the menu which tastes so good. Highly recommend Gluten Free chicken strips or the gluten free fish. Never had any problems with cross-contamination unlike other places I have eaten. Friendly staff who enjoy a chat. Great portion size which doesn’t cost the earth. Been using this chippy for a long time now and wouldn’t use any other.

Our local chippy is fab never had a bad meal food all cooked to order and well worth the wait the chips are the best we have had and fab friendly service too. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Best fish and chips around from The chippy...well worth the drive from Redruth never disappoints, always top quality and even the kids are always impressed

The food is usually nice, however the chips are dripping with fat, despite still being an enjoyable fish and chips shop. Overall I would recommend, but not worth travelling across the country for. Parking: The only parking spots there are are right in front of the shop, and these fill up quickly at popular times.
