We haven't eaten in the Andrean inn for years! the decor was reconstructed. very beautiful view of the garonne. Good service. very good dishes, tasty. The potimarron velvet was delicious.

We arrived here after a long day of driving and were welcomed quickly and sat outside overlooking the river. It was the perfect setting to watch the sunset. The food was superb; we had the sharing platter to start and everything was delicious. For main...we had the fillet steak and the duck breast. Both were superb but a word of advice ‘medium’ cooked will arrive rare/blue. They were more than happy to cook it slightly longer though. The food was superb and coupled with the amazing location meant for a perfect evening.

Nice evening, friendly service and tasteful dishes but a tip: if you take a cocktail before the meal (9 € on average), bring your olives or peanuts! : the house does not offer it, but it directs you to a board of charcuterie/cheese billed 14 €. It's a shame, it's a bit of a waste of food.

We were really hot and tired when we arrived here, everywhere was complet and we were about to give up and go home. The menu outside looked quite expensive but I was past caring by that stage and we just went in. Luckily they had...a table on the terrace overlooking the river, which sadly looked very brown and uninteresting but very pleasant to be outside in the breeze on such a hot day. The service was efficient rather than effusive, I don 't mind that. It turned out they have a daily menu of 17.95 for three courses, some price supplements and also a board with lots of other interesting choices. I 've got to say it was the best meal I have eaten at any price for a long time, I include some at three times as much, so if you get the chance give it a try, I 'm only sorry I won 't be here long enough to revisit.

If they are looking for an extraordinary place to eat in this area, they can drive a long way up and down the gironde. auberge Andre is in a class of his own, really fantastic they need to book because the natives love it. no. more expensive than many and if its note of the Michelin guide should be it. easy to eat, service and hire.
