My husband and I aren't GF but we brought my dad here. We both loved it. You can tell it's made from scratch and not from a bag like most restaurants. I ordered fish n chips and my husband ordered clam strips. We both thought it was great. The tarter sauce deserves a honorable mention too! Lovely atmosphere and nice waitress. We'll definitely come back! View all feedback.
What Shane Leuschke doesn't like about Coast To Coast Fish House:
Clam chowder was very thin and watery. I was quite disappointed. The beer selection was great though.Edited review after reading owners response:Could’ve just accepted valid criticism (that it appears others have shared as well). To clarify on my review, the clam chowder was thin and watery as I suggested above, and was primarily potatoes. I’ve lowered the review based on the interaction with the ownership.Thank you f... View all feedback.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I have celiac disease, so I try to avoid fried foods cooked in contaminated oil. This place specializes in gluten-free fried dishes and they do an excellent job. I ordered the fish with coleslaw after a long day of running errands. When I placed my order, they asked if I wanted two smaller pieces or a fillet. I wasn't sure, so I went with the fillet, not realizing that it was a whole fish! The meal also came with a generous serving of fries and a decent portion of coleslaw, all seasoned simply with salt and a touch of pepper. The batter on the fish was light and crispy, just right. The coleslaw could use some chili powder for my taste, and I'd suggest adding some spice to the tartar sauce as well. The portion size was generous, and I couldn't finish it all. The meal cost $17, but I could see it easily serving two people. I will definitely be returning. My only suggestions would be to offer a smaller burger option (currently only half a pound available) and maybe some hot sauce or chili powder for those who like a bit of heat. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and appreciated the attentive customer service. I feel confident that I won't get sick from eating here.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have consistently enjoyed each visit. They offer a variety of gluten-free options, which is important to us. The staff is friendly and provides quick service, the food is delicious with generous portions, and on weekends they have live acoustic music. We are looking forward to the option of sitting in their spacious outdoor area, weather permitting.
Experience a one-of-a-kind blend of seafood from both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, paired with fantastic music every Saturday night!
So glad that we eat here! delicious gluten-free lunch, we want to live more closely, would be a regular customer!
Tried it for the first time as the major lure for me was the fact that they have a lobster roll! Having eaten many on the East Coast, I was hoping someone would offer one here. The food is the star here. My lobster roll was made perfectly and the split top bun was toasted just the way I like it. A+ on the lobster roll! The lobster Mac and cheese was tasty and had a smokiness tonight that compliments the dish well. The fried oyster dish was some of the best we've ever had using this recipe. Soooo good! The pricing is a bit higher as I paid nearly twice what I pay in Boston. It is to be considering tje sourcing and supply chain issues with providing thus in the West. Staff was great but the only thing about the facility itself was the dirty restrooms...particularly in the women's. My wife was surprised that a place like this would allow the bathroom to be neglected. We will be back as great seafood is so hard to find in the area.
