Frankly, it's no use to waste your time in this restaurant. Once the attitude of the servers is more than execrable, you should not be looking at the quality of the meat served and above all not asking the origin since it is not written on the map why answer the question ... in short the whole does not make the moment pleasant.

Stumbled on this restaurant for our last evening in Corsica, we each took a dish and a blonde petra. the petra was hot and without bubbles on the dish, we stayed on our hunger although we are not big eaters. We had to wait half an hour before we got rid of it while the terrace was far from full. result we didn't take dessert and preferred to take an ice right in front. a bad address I don't recommend.

We were staying for four nights in Calvi two nights our dinner was included, but 2 nights were free. Having looked around a bit (my husband dislikes fish seafood) we chose Chez Dume for our first free night I popped in at...lunchtime to book for the evening, although we could have got in without a reservation as long as we 'd turned up before 8, by which time the place was heaving. We both ate off the set Menu Corse , which unlike other set menus (usually 3 choices max) had a pretty wide choice (I think 6 or 7 starters and mains). My husband particularly enjoyed his wild boar stew. We enjoyed our meal so much, we opted out of our second included dinner and came here a second time to choose something else off the set menu!

We had the set menu here and it’s pissibly the worst food I’ve ever tasted in my life The soup de poisson was thin and greasy and had no flavour at all It was accompanied with two small toasted slices of baguette The main course...was supposed to be fish with risotto It was a thin slither if something covered in a thick cold sauce and served with a thick cold white solidge if something that tasted of nothing The dessert was a lemon pie that had no lemon in it This place looked busy so we assumed the food must be good Don’t be fooled it’s really chez doom and gloom
