Tortino - Calumet-Norvelt

Have eaten here many times and love this restaurant. Had 3 apps last night for dinner, including an octopus special. I've had octopus here before and it's been excellent, but was WAY overcooked last evening. Other than that, a solid meal and we'll be back, I'm sure.

It would be better if they have more pasta options. Somehow that day I wasn't feeling for food with cream/butter. I was hoping for olive oils and garlic spaghetti. The staff are friendly. With decent service and vibe.

Amazing quality italian food and outstanding service. The food came out piping hot. We were beyond impressed. They also accomodated our large party with no questions asked and hassle free. I appreciated that the most, as other spots required extra fees or refused to accomodate. We would definately go back if in the DC area again.

Consistently amazing. Our Monday dinner was absolutely delicious, Calamari, Lobster Ravioli, Duck Breast and Pork Chop all on point and service very attentive and polite. My wife would eat her every night if possible.

I 've been there before, so I brought others on my suggestion. Our service was absolutely horrible! Our food was good, but our Server paid NO attention to our needs. When we arrived for our 6:30pm reservation, one in our party explained she was diabetic and asked if she could get bread right away to handle her health 'situation '. We never received that till after we ordered. Another in the party had a piece of hard candy in her purse which took care of the situation. That was when we knew we were in for a rough service. We were told the specials but had to ask for them to be repeated, and again, they were repeated so quickly that none of us caught what they were. No one came by to see how things were. We asked for water, but only the person that asked received more water. We were NEVER asked if we would like another glass of wine nor coffee when we asked to see the dessert menu. It was the most disappointing meal of our week and has come off my list of favorite restaurants to suggest or go to while I 'm on town.
