The food was well prepared The waiter was impersonal and not very attentive but the lower tier service staff were very nice. We were charged for papadam you are normally served complimentary and a few fresh small chilies which had never happened to us.

I eat here whenever I am in DC, and always have a delicious meal with attentive and unobtrusive service. This time was no exception. Try the Cobra Coffee after dinner—it's an experience in itself!

Still one of the best Indian restaurants with excellent food well prepared and attentive accommodating service. Usually packed and sometimes too noisy for normal conversation. Reservations are a must

The best Indian food l have ever had. Can highly recommend the butternut squash samosas, the lamb chops and the lamb vindaloo. The hot chai tea was also delicious. Ambience was pleasant and service fantastic. Will go again.

Nice ambiance, the food was great, service was pretty good. It was loud in there because we were sat in a room that had a nice party size. But we adjusted so it didn't bother us ultimately. My drink was great. I had the Manhattan and it got the job done. The price wasn't bad compared to other nice restaurants in the city that was offering a Mother's Day experience.
