Art Gallery And Grille

Tried eating for dinner and chef said kitchen was closed for 30 min. So we came back the next morning for some breakfast. The place was almost empty when we sat and we ordered our meals. After 30 min of waiting the chef comes back and says they are out of waffles. I asked why it took 30 min to tell us they were out of something and the chef just became rude and said what do you want me to do about it . So we just left and went to 17th and L street to the Sunrise Cafe, very good place.

Great place. Best burger and soups in the area and I travel here often. Can't go wrong with the Mediterranean dishes either, especially the Kefta over rice.

While in town on business I found myself wondering around the city trying to find a decent place to get good food to take back to my hotel. Mind you this had happened a couple of nights in a row. Then I found the Art Gallery Bar Grille. They have a wonderful Mediterranean menu as well as other items such as good old burgers and fries. They have a great selection of beer on tap and the food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. That day I had the mixed grill kabob over salad. It was wonderful and very filling. The prices are great and the staff are friendly and attentive. Nice to go to with a group, or if you just want a quiet meal by your self. I'm not sure many people in the area realize its open until 10:00 most evenings maybe later on the weekends. I'm in town again for a week, and I guarantee you I will be going there again!
