Ammathar Thai Cuisine - Calumet-Norvelt

I stopped by Ammathar for lunch in November 2022. I'd eaten here previously and had enjoyed it and I was nearby and hungry so figured I'd swing by. I'm glad I did. I had a vegetarian tom kha and a pork pad thai. Both came out hot and tasted fresh. The portions were good, too, and the service was prompt. Average prices. I'd certainly come back.

Great Thai restaurant! Amazing Pad Thai, pad see ew and mango sticky rice. Very polite and efficient service.

Cute atmosphere with great food after walking all day. For those of you who are looking for the brown savory pad Thai rather than the red sweet Americanized kind, this was the former and so good. The spicy drunken noodles were fantastic.

I have been Thailand before and I was looking for an automatic Thai restaurant and I think I found one. Food was delicious. They even have Kanom Krok! They are using right veggies and seasonings. Food is five ? but service was very slow and my husband did not receive his order till I finished mine. They brought wrong entre twice for him. The place was packed and they are under staffed. However, I definitely would like to go back again!

The wait staff are so attentive and you feel very welcome. The food was excellent and I am now a big fan of Thai Omelettes and Tapioca filled with Ground Chicken.
