What Estefania doesn't like about 7th St Hill Cafe:
I order an iced honeydew latte, which was good but I asked for light ice and they did not give me a light iced latte they put so much ice. I paid for more ice, than actual latte. View all feedback.
Cute little place. But honestly it was a little dirty (garbage and crumbs all over the furniture and floor). Chai latte was just okay, not much flavor. Especially for the price : I HATE being someone to complain about employees but the staff made me feel unwelcome. The music is actually really loud but that I care less about. I just wouldn’t recommend not having your own ear buds lol. Basically I probably wouldn’t visit again. The muffins DID look reallly good though so I would consider grabbing one of those if I was hungry and on the way to somewhere else.
The breakfast burrito is the best breakfast in D.C. for under $5

I went into this cafe for the first time today while perusing the Eastern Market festivities. The male cashier just stared at me blankly, instead of owning his position and offering a greeting like Good morning, what can I get started for you? . Something to show he was ready to take my order. And when I asked my sandwich to go, the woman rolled her eyes, like it was really a problem. Really? Based on customer interaction alone, I won 't patronize this place again.
My drink was excellent and the service was good. However I have NEVER been in a cafe that plays their music so loudly. Made for a bizarre atmosphere for a cafe during the daytime. Was very distracting as I was there to work, and if I had been there with someone else it was so loud it would have gotten in the way of conversation. Needs to be turned WAY WAY down.
