What Wayde Princell doesn't like about The Wire Bar And Grill:
I was very disappointed by the pesto sauce, which was made with dried basil instead of fresh - there is no excuse for this. Despite this, the waitress still received a $20 tip on an $81 bill. I felt there were too many recommendations for this level of food and service. The restaurant was very noisy in the southwest corner, with only two other tables occupied at 5:30. View all feedback. We heard about Keith's years ago but visited for the first time earlier this month. I wish we had gone sooner. The food was delicious and the drinks were equally as good. The service was warm and friendly, but operated like a well oiled machine. My family and I were already planning our next visit before we finished dessert. So happy to have found this local gem. read moreKeith's in Whiting pleasantly surprised multiple diners with delicious food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere. While one critic found the pesto sauce underwhelming, others raved about the flavorful menu and generous portions. The restaurant stood out as a hidden gem in East Chicago, offering fantastic dishes like saganaki, pork chops, and mushroom penne. Despite the lack of a printed drinks list, Keith's was a hit with all who visited, deserving of high praise for its quality food and top-notch service. The restaurant's limited hours make reservations a must for those looking to enjoy a fantastic dining experience.
