I recently had some of the best Chinese food I've enjoyed in a long time, and it might just be the best in Chicago! The food was delicious, served quickly, and the prices were great. The service was excellent, and the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, though it can get a bit warm at times. The walnut shrimp is a must-try, and the dumpling soup is simply amazing! I absolutely love their wonton noodles! The noodles have the perfect level of springiness. I always order them, and they are the best in Chinatown.
I order takeout from here every single week. The food is very authentic and offers great value. I highly recommend giving them a try!
Very tasty. I had the fried noodles with beef for lunch. The portion is huge. I have enough for two meals.
My favorite dish is the sizzling beef tenderloin in black pepper sauce, which is priced at $14.95. It’s served in a hot cast iron skillet, and it truly sizzles! The dish comes with onions and bell peppers, and it is incredibly savory and full of flavor. I appreciate that the beef is thinly sliced; I’m not a fan of fatty chunks. Another favorite of mine is the walnut shrimp, which features semi-sweet jumbo deep-fried shrimp coated in a creamy sauce with walnuts, always served with bright, fresh broccoli. I've ordered these dishes both in-house and for takeout. I was a bit disappointed with the portion size of the walnut shrimp for takeout, as it was smaller than when dining in. However, they are very generous with the beef dish, both for dine-in and takeout. This place can get quite busy on weekends, so I recommend visiting during the weekdays. Parking can be tricky, as it's metered.
I had the stir fry black goat. It was yummy. Great fish balls and crab rangoon.
