The starters and pasta were amazing. The meat was good. Cannolis were delish. We also had the best service of our 2 weeks in Italy. Decor is adorable as well. It used to be an olive oil factory and they have some old machinery displayed. We even bought some olive oil to bring home as that was tasty as well. You must go here if in the area. We were staying in Sciacca and it was worth the drive.

I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely wonderful Augello Giuseppe and his brothers and family are the owners of this restaurant) Long story ….. We punct... read more I cannot even begin to tell you how absolutely wonderful Augello Giuseppe and his brothers and family are the owners of this restaurant) Long story ….. We punctured our rental car tyre, they drove us back to our place, waited for the recovery truck with my husband. Came the next morning and got their friend to drive us to Sciacca to pick up a new car!!! Amazing, wouldn’t accept any payment, just kept saying it’s from the heart We had a lovely meal, wonderful fresh Italian appetizers so many of them, they accommodated us as we are pescatarians and don’t eat meat. Fabulous home made pastas, so fresh. But the Canoli omg!! Mama Mia, the best we’ve ever had. It’s a set menu for a very reasonably price, the house wine is so good, think it’s 5 euro a glass, would give a Barolo a run for its money. Thank you again to these lovely generous angels on earth.

If you want to feel invited by a local... read more In a beautiful little village, hidden somewhere in the middle of small streets you’ll find this unique family restaurant. If you want to feel invited by a local family, then this is your place. We were greeted and served by the most charming and funny son of the cooking mamma. No order was taken but the most delicious antipasti just kept arriving. All home made and grown together with their own olive oil an absolute treat. Followed by risotto in local red wine, home made pasta with a pistachio sauce before two different meat as main course. And the top of all highlights: the very best cannoli you’ve ever had. And before i forget: don’t miss the « house wine » which could take it up with many high ranked Bordeaux.
