We ate the first day of vacation and we went back later. Soon, I will return with another part of my family. The restaurant is beautiful, tastefully decorated, both the tables, the setting and the details, which make the food, which is very good, taste better. We tried the seafood paella -exquisite-, the salad with cheese, fried food, eggplant etc. All very good and very well served. I recommend Hydra restaurant 100% Parking note. There is one in front of the restaurant and you don 't pay from 3 to 5pm...but at 4:55pm if you don 't care, they will fine you ‍ Parking: As I have previously commented, the parking lot in front is free from 3 to 5 pm, but they begin to check after 5 or 10 minutes. before.

The paella from Alicante was very good, as were the two starters we ordered (squid and aubergine). The squid was done to perfection and the aubergine had almonds in it, very good choice. We ate on the terrace and it was really nice and nice to take friends and family. The service is super attentive to any question or change in the order, and the food came out very quickly. I would come back for sure. You have to book in advance

I don't know if I will return to Calpe, but if I do I will not return to this restaurant. PS: The rice dishes looked good although we didn't try them
