We dined in (if you could call it that, as it was an open-sided area adjacent to the car park and not far from Nicklin Way, so far from peaceful). Sitting close to the kitchen we were kept entertained by the many staff serving take-away...pizza – this is not the only pizza option in the area but was certainly doing a roaring trade; must be good! We started with herb crust and then salt and pepper calamari. The calama... View all feedback.
What Jennifer Vandervort doesn't like about Italia Pizza & Pasta:
After specifying 3 times what sort of pizza we wanted they still managed to get it wrong. The manager doesn't deserve to be in business as he is rude and obnoxious. View all feedback.
Large pizzas, they leave dominos for dead. Normally the manager or even franchisee makes the pizzas so quality is always high. in the last 12 months there was a dozen times and never had a complain:
We called into Italia Pizza on the way to visiting relatives. So glad we chose this pizza shop over Dominos. Uncomparable! The owner is Italian and so the pizzas are genuine. The closest we have to fair dinkum Italian pizza since we were in Italy! They also cater for tricky dietary requirements. We tried the Currimundi Special (Seafood) and my husband is still raving! We will go back for sure.
Lovely family run business. Always consistently tasty and prompt on delivery. The only place I will purchase lasagne on the Sunshine Coast! My favourite thing is knowing the ingredients are fresh and wholesome. Thanks Italia Pizza and Pasta Currimundi, I will be back!
Quality pizza with loads of fresh toppings every time. Call ahead and always ready for pick-up on time. Friendly service too. Highly recommend.
Well that's it for us and we won't be wasting our money here anymore. Progressively has gotten worse and now no better than Dominos. Over the past 8 months the toppings have diminished, the bases have gotten so thin that there is no crust (and they taste like cardboard) and the prawns that used to be quite plentiful and a good size on the Currimundi Special are the size of a 5 cent piece and are very few and far between. We ate it because we were hungry and because we paid $34 for 2 pizzas, but we will never be back. The standard has declined to the point where pizza's half the price taste just as good.
