Bar Ticu is a beachfront bar like there are many. If you're on the beach, and it happens to be your closest option for a cold beer, then go there, by all means.... read more Bar Ticu is a beachfront bar like there are many. If you're on the beach, and it happens to be your closest option for a cold beer, then go there, by all means.if you want to have an improptu lunch, or dinner with friends or family: look around on Tripadvisor, and you will find much better options within a 5 minute walk. The food is a bit bland and uninspired, service is friendly, though. A little bit of inspiration could do wonders for this place, as it sits in a great location.

We actually ate here 4 nights during our stay which was mainly due to the wide choice of dishes (as my SO thought he preferred meat to fish), reasonable prices, the friendliness of the staff and the service given. The Bistek de vedella exceeded expectations and the recommended cod dish was extremely tasty. We also ate pasta, fish and chicken but my SO said the sea bass was the best meal he had eaten there. We learnt some new words and phrases which is always good and really appreciated the time given to us by the staff due to the language barrier (our fault entirely). Would highly recommend.
