One waiter for 30 covers most of the menu was not available ended up having a sea food paella for two they burnt it eat 20% and gave up. Such a shame Restaurant bar and campsite were so good even 5 yrs ago when we last came now so bad I and the family wished we had not bothered and will never be back Adios

We discovered this restaurant two years ago whilst staying at Camping Internacional de Calonge and returned again this year even though we were staying at the c... read more We discovered this restaurant two years ago whilst staying at Camping Internacional de Calonge and returned again this year even though we were staying at the campsite next door. We love eating here as, apart from it being really good value for money, the food is delicious and the staff so welcoming. Also there is a lovely view across the sea. Apart from my daughter, four of us had the set menu for under 15 euros for three courses. The smoked salmon tartare and the prawn puff pastry starters are really tasty, my son and husband both enjoyed the seafood salad starter too. My son loved the veal steak with Roquefort sauce so much that he had it again the second time we went. The tuna I had chosen was cooked to perfection. At the end of our last meal there we were offered free liqueurs which was a really lovely touch and very much appreciated. Fab service and fab food, what more could you ask.

We had a good value 3 course set meal which was about 16 euros and included calamari starter, monkfish or hake main course and crème catalan for dessert all washed down with a decent 10 euro bottle of house white. The tales are nicely set out with white tale clothes and wine glasses and the staff friendly. They also do individual dishes and paella or fidua to share. Recommended.

The service by James and his staff is both friendly and extremely professional. It's always a gastronomic pleasure to eat at the Blauverd.
