Easy to reach, lots of parking and large dining area with friendly staff makes this a great place to visit. We didn't sink, we were interested in flights. Beer had interesting names with the names of cities in the area it is fun as we familiar with most. Our brews were really good and there was a great choice. We go back and recommend the brewery. Owners were amazing! Food was great! Best soft pretzel ever! So many local beers to choose from! Gift shop was adorable with home made gifts, T shirts and more. Prices were completely reasonable! View all feedback.

I'm originally from West, Texas, a Czech city where Pivo simply means beer. And I think it's a big name for this brewery where the choice of Pivo is HUGE. Most beer safvvy in my group shaved about how every beer they tried was on the spot, i.e. a textbook example of this kind of beer. My Cuban sandwich was very tasty, although a little small. Our server was nice and did a good job. Although I found a new must have beer, it was definitely worth stopping by.
In the tiny town of Calmar, IA they're making some damned fine beer! Very nice facility, locally owned with fun art to buy as well as the usual brewery swag. We went with a flight, each different so we were able to sample like 8 different beers! All were just terrific! Worth the drive from wherever you are!

Nice casual, quaint and quiet little bar. Clean floors too. Doesn't look like a beat up old tavern for an old place. (Don't know how old it actually is. Visited on off days- Sunday and Monday.
